Termites
In northern Australia where the savanna is located there is a high population of termites that create the mounds that you can see in the picture above. These Termites make tall columns within the mounds that act as a city like structure where they live. The termites are mainly unstudied but as far as scientists know these species of termites only reside in northern Australia.
The Barking Spider
The Barking Spider also known as Selenocosmia Crassipes is spider that lives in the Australian Savanna is larger than the size of your hand at 23 centimeter legs and a 3.5 inch body length. The venom from a Barking Spider doesn't cause death to humans but can give up to 6 hours of vomiting and can kill animals like dogs and cats within 30 minutes. This spider lives in burrows under the dirt and waits for the arrival of birds for food.
